For our warm-up question, I'd like you to write about your goals for this class. More specifically, what are 3 personal (about you) goals that you have for Writing and Grammar 5 this semester. Please explain why each goal is important.

ReplyDeleteThis is my answer.
First, my goal is that I develop a skill to write essay with logical and constructive opinion. My preseten essay is incoherent. I want to write essay coherently in my near future.
Second goal of my writing and grammar in class is to know and use a lot of vocaburaly avairable. In my present situation, knowledge of vocaburaly is different from vocaburaly that I can use in essay. So, I want to improve my ability to use vocaburaly as much as knowledge of vocaburaly.
At last, my goal is about whole grammar skills. Now, I can't realize where I mistake about grammar in my essay, so, I check out my mistakes and want to proofread in my near future to polish my essay.

ReplyDeleteI’m Mai Negishi. This is my first time for writing in blog, so I am little nervous. Anyway, My 3 personal goals in writing and grammar course are as following.
First, I want to enjoy studying includes writing more. The reason why I hope this is I believe enjoying has more energy to study English than anything. I am not good at writing, so I didn’t like writing so much. However, I found my feeling stopped improving my English. I love Disney movies, so I can memorize many characters, but I can not memorize the name of difficult subject; like science or biology. Therefore, this is my big step for studying writing and grammar.
Second, I want to know a lot of vocabularies. When I talk with American friends, I sometimes face a difficulty with English vocabularies. If I come up many vocabularies easily, I believe I can talk with my friends more naturally. It is difficult for me to remember vocabularies, so I want to overcome my weak point for studying English.
Third, I want to make a great portfolio at the end of this semester. I’m looking forward to take this class because I want to make wonderful portfolio. In Japan, I took English writing class, and I made a fantastic portfolio, too. When I finished my portfolio and read it, I found my English became better. I can recall the classes by reading my portfolio. Similarly, I will do my best in classes.

ReplyDeleteNow, I'll write about 3 goals in this class: improving composition for writing, developing my skills of grammar and building up my vocabularies I can use.
The first goal is improving composition for writing. I know what paragraph is or we need to write some details. However, I can not make good paragraphs or details. That's why I would like to improve how to write.
The second goal is developing my skills of grammar. It is difficult for non-native speakers to write perfect sentences. However, we need to write correct texts when we study in the university. In addition, though I have studied English grammar since I was junior high school student, I make grammatical mistakes now. Some grammatical mistakes often someone incomprehensive. Therefore I would like to improve knowledge of grammar.
The third goal is building up my vocabularies I can use. Of course I should build up the number of vocabularies which I know. But I realize that the number of words I can use is very low. That's why I would like to build up my word I can use.
For these reasons, my goal in this class is those: improvement how to write, development of my grammar skills and increasing my words I can use.

I know that it almost impossible to use English perfectly after 1 semester.So ,my first goal is to learn to manage my time well and form a good habit to speak English everywhere.It's very important because I cannot use English very well although,I realise how to improve it.I will be better later in my study.
The second goal is that I can make call with my foreign friends.I have to say that it is more convenient to use cellphone than email to contact with others.I used to be afraid of answering others' phones.
The third one is to form the habit to read newspapers in English.It's very helpful.I can get as much up-date information as I want from it.

why. So I hope it's work now!
My three goals for this class are, improve my writing and grammar skill, and do my best all time for my every single work.
First of all, I want to improve my writing throught this class, because now I don't feel comfortable with my writing. In my writing, I'm not good at using transition words. Writing essay or research paper is very important skills to take classes in University, and I want to take classes hopefully next semester. So this class will helpful to prepare and improve my writing for studying in here a lot. Therefore I will try to improve my writing in this class.
Second, I also want to improve my grammar skill, because grammar is very important for every thing. Especially when I speak and write essay or research paper, it is very important to use correct grammar. Therefore, I want to make my grammar better than now and prepare for university classes.
Last, I want to do my best in this class and work every time. I thought this is most important thing and it will help me to learn English quickly. Writing and grammar are important skills to have, and I need to do my best all time to improve my English. This is the only way that learning English quickly. Therefore, I will try to do my best every single time.
These three things are my goals for this class. I hope I can do this, and I can have a great time with all of you in level 5!!!

Hi.I'll write about three goals of this class.
ReplyDeleteMy first goal is that get along with grammar and I can say this is my big goal.Actually.I don't like studying grammar,because it's difficult for me to understand it and use it.But I'll CHASE grammar until the end of this semester.I believe that grammar helps me when I want to explain about something or expression about myself.
To know more about conjections is my second goal.It's necessary to use conjections when we write something.Without these parts,people can't understand what an author wants to say.Furthermore,if the author use wrong conjection,readers will confuse and stop reading the essay or thesis.
Last thing is that expression my opinion accurately in writing.It means that I should acquire linguistic knowledge:grammar,vocabulary and writing technique.
It's a long way to achieve these goals.So,I'll try hard.

ReplyDeleteI have three goals for this class which are improving my writing skills, getting correct grammar skills, and getting an A. I want to do my best to reach these goals.
First, I want to improve my writing skills. I could not get good scores in last semester, so I want to get good scores in this class. However, I do not like resarch essays so I have to start sooner.
Next, I really need correct grammar skills. Even if I can understand grammar, I sometimes misstake them. I think grammar is the most important part in English.
Finally, I want to get an A in the class because I have never gotten an A in the writing and grammar class. I will do my best in the tests too!
Improving writing skills, getting correct grammar skills and getting an A are my goals of the semester. If I do my best I think I can reach my goals.

ReplyDeleteI intend to improve my English by increase saving vocabulary, spelling it and using it correct form. Also I wish this course help me to find the words that exactly support the meaning that I want to say. Moreover, I want to think by English not by my native language.
I hope to work more on recognizing, analyzing, and coherence the sentence. Thus, those help me to write more details that will support the main idea clarity.
The last goal, I am looking to writing the correct sentences grammatical and use the punctuation and good connection by coordinating conjunction and subordinating conjunction.
This class will help me in TOEFL in writing section

I would like to improve in writing an essay in its composition and content of the vocabulary and also looking forward to knowing the rules for writing the essay.In addition, to obtaining the highest grade in this semester.
First: Improving essay writing
In the past I used to write essay in my daily life, but I find it difficult when you write, take a long time thinking about the content of the essay and how the formulation. So I hope this semester that I develop my writing the essay for the better.
Second: The content of the essay of the vocabulary
I need much vocabulary in speaking or in writing.I have to build up a big amount of vocabulary in this semester to help me in writing of the essay or when I talk with the native speakers.
Last:
Knowing the rules of the language for essay writing
knowing the rules of writing, how to write the essay.I need to know how to write an coherence pargraph.
I hope to enjoy learning english in this semester.
